Clear terms. No surprises.
How project payments work, what protects both sides if a balance goes unpaid, and what's expected when it comes to photos.
Start Your ProjectInvoice
An invoice is sent after you accept the quote.
Once you review your quote and accept it, an invoice is emailed to you. It must be paid before work on your website begins. Website builds take between 3-7 days, and your photos will need to be provided before then — you send in your own business or product photos, or appropriate AI-generated photos can be used instead.
50% Deposit
Half up front, before work begins.
Project work begins once the 50% deposit is received. The deposit covers planning, design, and copywriting time, and it is non-refundable once work has started. This 50% / 50% structure applies to website build projects only — every other service is paid in full before any work begins.
50% Final Payment
The balance is due at completion.
The remaining 50% is due when the website is completed. The website is not launched, published, or handed over until the final balance is paid in full.
Payment Protection
If the balance goes unpaid.
If the final payment isn't received within 14 days of completion, the project is paused and the site stays offline and unlaunched. All designs, content, and work created during the project remain the property of First Impression until the project is paid in full. Completed work is not transferred or published for unpaid projects.
Platform & Domain
Platform and domain costs.
Websites run on a third-party website platform that charges about $50 per month, paid directly to the platform — not to First Impression. Your domain is a separate cost you pay yourself, unless you're on a Management & Growth plan, where your custom domain is included. Clients paying only the one-time website build fee don't receive ongoing email marketing, SEO work, or growth reports.
Monthly Services
Monthly plans bill on the first of the month.
Website Management & Growth, Email Marketing, and Google Ads management are billed monthly in advance, on the first of the month. Reporting and monitoring are measured in whole calendar months, so monthly services always start on a first of the month — if you sign up mid-month, your service and first billing begin on the first of the next month. Your website itself can launch as soon as it's completed — but billing and tracking for the monthly service still start on the first of the month, so a site launched mid-month isn't charged for monitoring until the first of the next month. If a monthly payment fails or goes unpaid, the service pauses until the account is current.
Photos: you provide them.
First Impression does not provide business photography. To keep projects affordable and honest, images on your website come from you, from appropriate stock or licensed sources, or from AI generation within the limits below.
- First Impression does not offer on-location photography or content creation — no photo shoots of you, your team, your location, or your products.
- When your website is being built, you'll need to send in photos of your products or services. If you don't have photos, appropriate AI-generated content can be created for you instead.
- You supply your own photos, and you must have the legal right to use them.
- Stock photos and licensed imagery may be used where appropriate.
- AI-generated images may be used, subject to restrictions: they must not misrepresent real people, real products, real locations, real results, certifications, or create fake team members, clients, or testimonials.
- Images that misrepresent your business or mislead customers will not be used.
Every project begins with an inquiry.
Nothing is purchased directly through this website. Submit a project inquiry, and you'll receive a response within 24 hours — a tailored plan and quote by email. Payment terms above apply once a project is agreed to. Questions before that? Email kenzz.6miller@gmail.com.
